Man charged with attempted murder after striking Pinecrest office with off-road vehicle: Police

A man who declared he was struck by a Corvette on Sunday while riding his bike in Miami is speaking out David Miller informed NBC that he s lucky to be alive and is hoping that those responsible for hitting him come forward He was riding his bike near the block of Northwest th Avenue when he stated the car hit him I remember going across the hood like towards the windshield hit the windshield it was smashed and I landed has to be feet or so from where I was hit Miller stated Miller explained his life could have changed in the blink of an eye I was riding my bike I was coming out of my apartment and I came onto the street here he commented I got to the intersection look left for you know oncoming traffic and didn t see anyone so I kept going on my bike I look left again and I see a car coming According to Miller the car that struck him was a silver Corvette that had three people inside Went and sat on the curb because you know I wasn t sure how bad I was banged up yet and they kinda of went towards where I was hit they stopped slowed down for a little bit seemed like they re asking me if I was OK he explained I remember kinda saying like Yea I m fine but then I put my hand up like wait I was trying to get the words out but just too pumped up I guess and they drove off Miller suffered several bruises and had various cuts Miami Fire noted the -year-old refused cure at the scene and didn t want to be taken to the hospital He is expected to be OK NBC has reached out to Miami Police for more information on the episode
